StatWizards® was founded by George Boomer, a market research practitioner with over 15 years' experience in building discrete-choice models for global 1000 companies. Much of that experience has been incorporated in the Wizards, which contain best practices from a large number of consulting projects.

The idea for StatWizards arose from two observations: first, that software could help make the benefits of new, powerful tools more accessible to business applications; and second, that Excel had become the lingua franca of corporate data analysis.

With later releases of Visual Basic for Applications, Excel became a suitable platform for our products. The realization of these two insights helps bring these exceptional techniques to bear on critical, bet-your-company business problems.
