To install the Latent GOLD Format Wizard, first uninstall any previous versions, then run the Setup.exe program.
If you are running Excel 2007, click here. The following instructions apply to earlier versions.
To check if the Wizard installed properly, run Excel and select Tools | Add-Ins... from the main menu. If the file is in the right place, you should see "Latent GOLD Formatter" in the list of possible add-ins, as shown below.
Before you use the format wizard, be sure to check the box next to "Latent GOLD Formatter" in the above form, then press OK. When you want to unload the add-in A special type of hidden spreadsheet that when loaded extends Excel's functionality., uncheck the box.
If you have the demo version of the software, no copy protection exists. You are done and can ignore the following instructions.
The first time you select Tools | LG Formatter from Excel's menu, you will see a dialog box resembling the following.
