Step 6. Uninstall and reinstall Excel.

You were dreading this, but here it is.  Some customers have solved the aforementioned execution problems only by uninstalling and reinstalling Excel.

  1. Click the Windows Start button, then select Control Panel.

  2. From the control panel, select Add or Remove Programs. You should see a new windows like this one:    If you are running Windows Vista, the procedure is slightly different, but close enough to let us use this tutorial .

  3. Click on Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003, or whatever version of Microsoft Office you happen to have installed.

  4. If prompted, select Uninstall.

  5. Restart your computer.

  6. Using your installation disk, install Office.

  7. From Windows, click the Start button, select Microsoft Update, and install all updates for Microsoft Office. (see Step 1).

  8. Restart your computer.

Load Excel and try to run a Wizard.  If this doesn't work, first contact Microsoft Support.  Finally, you can contact StatWizards at gboomer1@san.rr.com.  In your message, try to include copies of any error messages and other helpful information.
