Overview of choice model

For this example we will use a discrete-choice results file based on simulated data regarding shoe purchases.  This is the same data set used as a tutorial for StatWizards' Discrete-Choice Suite of Excel add-ins.

Running a four-class choice model on the data set yields the following results in Latent GOLD.

Normally you would have to save these results, but we have done this for you in the text file Latent GOLD shoe.txt, installed along with the wizard.  In this tutorial we will import the model results into Excel, format them and interpret the results.  To begin, run Excel with a blank worksheet and load the Format Wizard.  When you have done this, run the wizard and proceed to the next step.  Note that the wizard is copy protected and has to be activated before you can use it.
