Start by running the Format Wizard with a blank workbook. This brings up the following screen:
Click Next to see the screen for Step 2,
Make any changes you want to this screen, then click the Next button to go on to the next step.
Click on the Import Latent GOLD run button to bring up the Open Text File box:
You will to maneuver to the folder where the sample files are located. With a standard installation, you should find the files in C:\Program Files\StatWizards\LG Format Wizard.
Double-click ex1DFactor.txt. After some processing, the file is loaded into Excel, and the Wizard is ready for the next step.
Click the Format Latent GOLD workbook button. After more processing, the Wizard displays its final screen, indicating its work is complete.
From this point the Wizard closes, allowing you to examine your newly formatted workbook and interpret the results.
