Overview of Regression model

For this tutorial we will use a simulated rating-based conjoint data set available on the Statistical Innovations web site and used in various Latent GOLD tutorials.  The hypothetical data consist of Likert-scale ratings of shoes based on likelihood of purchase.  It is used in Latent GOLD Tutorial 3: LC Regression with Repeated Measures.

Running a four-class regression model on the data set yields the following results in Latent GOLD.

Normally you would have to save these results, but we have done this for you in the text file Conjoint regression.txt, installed along with the wizard.  In this tutorial we will import the model results into Excel, format them and interpret the results.  To begin, run Excel with a blank worksheet and load the Format Wizard.  When you have done this, run the wizard and proceed to the next step.  Note that the wizard is copy protected and has to be activated before you can use it.
